India cricket squad for test match vs Sri Lanka 2010

India's team squad for three test match series against Sri Lanka is declared today.

The three-Test series would be played in Galle and Colombo. The first Test is between July 18 and 22 at Galle. The second and third are between July 26 and 30, and August 3 and 7 respectively in Colombo.

New Zealand tour of India 2010 - tests & ODIs

Another good news for cricket lovers. Team New Zealand will tour India this November and will play 3 Tests and 5 ODIs.

First Test : November 4-8 (Ahmedabad)
Second Test : November 12-16 (Kanpur)
Third Test : November 20-24 (Mumbai)

They will also play five One-Day Internationals in Hyderbad, Chennai, Guwahati, Mohali and Bangalore, dates of which are not yet finalised.

Cricket ODI number 3000 to be played today

The England v Australia ( NatWest Series [Australia in England] ) ODI to be played at The Rose Bowl, Southampton (22 June 2010) will be the ODI no. 3000 in the history of the game.

Interestingly the same two teams played the very first ODI in 1971.
